Well....if he BOUGHT OUT HIS OWN CONTRACT, then I think its pretty obvious where both he and the team wanted to be.....I was all for keeping LaVar, but if he payed his way out of Washington, I guess he was full of sh*t with all that Redskin for life talk...I'm still a Lavar fan, I wish him luck, but I'm not gonna kill myself over the move.

If Lavar had stayed, his cap number would have worked out to $12+ mil ($5+ mil signing bonus + $550K salary +$6.5 mil June Roster bonus). His dead money number works out like this:
Signing Bonus Acceleration: $12.846 mil Buy Out: -$4 mil Net: $8.846 mil So it looks like the cap savings will only be about $3 mil (his roster slot has to be replaced for cap purposes).
