Face of the Redskins

What's the point in picking one of our high-paid stars as the "face" of the Redskins. That popularity will only demand them more money - and then we will lose them in a year or two and have to start over.

We should choose one of our blue-collar players like ... I dunnno... THE ADE.

Or, since THE ADE's new popularity might push him over the cap, too - here are some other possibilities:

Casey Bramlet - QB of the Future
Curry Burns - Well it does, doesn't it?
Jim Jones - Why won't you drink his kool-ade?
Jesse Lumsden - Graduated from McMaster College with a degree in McChicken
Ikuchuku Ndukwe - Can't spell team without "U"

The old face of the Redskins met with Miami today

Former Washington linebacker LaVar Arrington met Friday with the Dolphins, agent Carl Poston said.

"They had expressed an interest and Miami is a great place to live and play football," Poston said. "I think they need a linebacker, especially since they released Junior (Seau). That's all I know so far."

Yeah, I agree. Either Marcus or Clinton. Portis just reminds me so much of Riggins with his antics. Where John cut a mohawk for himself, Clinton puts on a wig and glasses. On the other side, Marcus Washington is purely a class act. He'd make a great spokesman as well.

How about "The U" (defensive unit)...I wonder if they still want to be refered to by that name with Lavar gone.

No doubt as soon as Marcus Washington loses his braces it will be him. Right now he is slightly awkward like all adults with braces.

its either going to be Marcus or Portis. Sean only if he cleans up his act. maybe in a few years for him but entering next year it is Washington and portis. I went with Portis. he seems to represent the skins on many media outlets. People say he will be on the madden cover(rumor i believe) so how could he not be the face of the team?
