Bruce staying with the STL is an answer to my prayer:

Dude is great. HOF career. But he is ancient. He is going down hill.

I agree with most of us that this isnt that big of a loss. He is getting long in the tooth, but it still would have been nice to have seen him end out his career like Henry Ellard did.
