Re: Compensation for Lloyd
2 draft picks for Lloyd seems a bit much. I think 1 would be plenty. I mean he hasn't done all that much in san fran to recieve 2 draft picks regardless if they are low picks or not.

Redskins | Nearing deal for Lloyd
Sat, 11 Mar 2006 13:15:23 -0800 Adam Schefter, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl">NFL Network, reports the Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers are nearing a deal that would have the Redskins sending a 2006 third-round pick and a 2007 fourth-round selection to the 49ers for WR Brandon Lloyd. Pending a physical, the deal should be completed before the end of the weekend. |

Re: Compensation for Lloyd
Andre Carter is listed at 6' 4" 270lbs. Hardly LB material. Take a look.

Re: Compensation for Lloyd
I think that's a good deal. We'd definitely be getting someone good. But then we'd only have what, a second round pick, then the rest would all be 5th, 6ths, and 7's?

Re: Compensation for Lloyd
I wonder how many skins fans are gonna buy his album in the coming weeks. I think Shaq was a more legit rapper.

Re: Compensation for Lloyd
Isn't this guy basically Rod Gardner, but a little faster? Do we really want 50/50 back?

Re: Compensation for Lloyd
Seems to be a done deal:
Niners Trade Disgruntled WR Lloyd to Redskins for Draft Picks 3rd this year; 4th next. Not so bad, especially if we get a supplemental pick or two. Anyway, we needed a WR for sure, and since D-mac left, we don't really have an aspiring rapper.
