Re: First Skins free agent report: Clayton
Love Carter.
Archuletta inspires ambivalence. I am concerned that they are serious about Randle-El. I got that way when Wilbon mentioned it, because it makes me think that Gibbs dropped Randle-El's name in conversation, as it is my understanding that Wilbon talks to Gibbs on and off informally. I would prefer Lloyd, but again, it seems unlikely to me that 49ers would not match any offer we could make. Of course Joe Gibbs is a real producer in free agency. You know what they say at Redskins Park--Coffee is for Closers. Maybe Gibbs can convince him to come our way.

Re: First Skins free agent report: Clayton
I would rather have an LB or CB instead of Archuletta. This may be some worst case scenario preparation if Taylor serves time.
Randle-El and Lloyd? Say hello to #4 Patten. I wonder if his comments have ticked off the coaches. The more I think about it, I like the move. If Moss goes down they still have a decent group of wideouts. It is probably safe to say that Jacobs and Thrash are history. |

Do you guys think Patten could be part of the trade with the Niners. Patten and a 4th for Lloyd?
