I'd love to see that. Or maybe try out the late 70's Yellow (Not Gold) bottoms with the Burgundy. Something along the lines of a Green Bay Gold /Steelers yellow would be nice. Burgundy on white just seems horrid to me. I guess it’s all the years of never seeing it, and then the bad years of Marty and SS making us wear them at home.

Well one thing I will give Spurrier is that he brought out the white on whites first. Or am I wrong ? If so then I'll go back to the Camp Scrub corner and shut up for about an hour. The Burgundy on Burgundy idea is cool. I always made those uni's for my franchises on Madden. But ANYTHING besides the Burgundy on whites, please !

I'd like to see those anniversary unis they wore when spurrier was here. The dark burgandy, gold pants, arrow helmets. they looked cool as shit.

I was just going to say that they should wear those black jerseys they've been selling lately during a couple of games, but then I remembered how stupid the ravens and eagles looked in them and threw up a little bit. Who else is ready to grab a Guiness?

Im late hitting this thread, but at the Oakland game at home this season I saw a crap load of these jerseys being worn by skins fans. I just shaked my head and said I understand that you are buying the newest style jersey, and even if it is the only one you own, YOU DON'T EVER WEAR A BLACK JERSEY to a home game against the raiders. I almost felt a bit betrayed by thos people that wore them. Next the marketing dept. will come out with green or blue jerseys and people will wear them wehn we play the giants, dallas, or philly.
NO LOVE FOR BLACK JERSEYS.

The white on white were first worn in Spurriers 2nd season when the Skins played the Jets.

I always wonderd if this had something to do with Dan Snyder's father passing away. That was the same season, and I wonder if it was a tribute for him.

Someone has to get to the bottom of this.

The skins almost wore burgundy-on-burgundy back when we drafted Taylor Jacobs, back when Spurrier was here. They marketed both white-on-white and burgundy-on-burgundy, but it was said that some of the players thought it was too much, and it has not been talked about much since. That would be friggin' sweet though.
