Buccaneers.com reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have promoted Rich Bisaccia, formerly the special teams coach, to special teams coordinator.

Is this really a promotion ? This seems to be more of a job title change ( and possibly pay rate increase) to me.

But anyways, it seems that the Bucs are trying to do something similar to what the redskins are doing with the coaching staff as far as roles and titles. It's a copycat league and at least one team out there is somewhat confirming the success of the redskins coaching structure. If nothing else, these moves serve the purpose attempting to keep coaches they deem valuable.
