Packers | Team will likely extend deadline for Favre's roster bonus

Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports the Green Bay Packers will likely extend the deadline for QB Brett Favre's $3 million roster bonus. The bonus is due Monday, March 20, but might get pushed back while he considers retirement. The terms of the contract state he would become an unrestricted free agent if the bonus is not paid, but both sides have an understanding that the deadline will be delayed while Favre decides his future with the team.
