here's the thing, we have 2 TEs, pope probably won't be there when we pick, and we have MUCH more urgent needs than TE at this point (with only one first day pick). They didn't feel like paying royal 2$mill a year cause he kinda sucks, that doesn't mean they're drafting a TE (FA OL are 2-4mill a year, quality FA TEs max at 1.5-2mill unless they're gates or gonzo. moneywise, OL is the best choice, though CB also makes sense).

Of course they have much bigger needs, among them DT, OL, OLB or MLB. And I don't think he will fall either. I'm just speculating that if hes there, they might think about taking him.
