I understand that's why they threw the flag, but really I think it was just Smoot reacting to Washington. I feel like pretending that the ball is a baby so you can pretend to wipe its ass is much more choreographed, but maybe it's just my old feelings that the majority of the questionable calls go against us (I'm paranoid like that).
