I'm now the proud owner of both an XBox and a GameCube. I've had the XBox for a couple years, but I just purchased the GC a couple months ago. I finally caved, after my wife had been urging me for a couple years to buy one so that she could play all the new Mario games.

I'm still primarily an XBox player, with Madden being the only game I ever really play. I'll stick with XBox for Madden 2005, especially now that it works with XBox Live. I love the graphics and hard drive of the XBox. It definitely rocks not having to mess with memory cards. I also like the fact that the controllers are bigger than those for ps2 and GC. My hands always cramp up really bad on the smaller controllers those platforms use. The XBox controllers are much more comfortable in my opinion. However, for those who prefer the smaller controllers, you can buy smaller ones for the XBox at Best Buy. They have some that are tiny, for smaller hands.

I do like the GameCube's fluidity as far as frame rates go. You hardly ever see any hiccups in the movement. It seems a little better than the XBox in that respect.
