The Washington Redskins released tight end Kevin Ware, five days after he was arrested for public intoxication in Houston. Ware, 23, was one of seven tight ends on the roster and would have had to overcome long odds to make the team even before his legal problems arose. Ware was an undrafted player from the University of Washington signed by the Redskins last year. He made the team unexpectedly, shifted between the active roster and the practice squad and made one start. . . .
