I've never noticed any major issues regarding reliability with my dish. I love it!
Don't believe the BS that the cable companies are shoveling. You would think a light breeze knocks out your service if you listen to them. Trust me, it doesn't. Even during heavy winds and rain my service doesn't go out. I can second their great customer service too, and my installer was great and put in an extra phone jack in my living room at no additional cost. Their prices are better, the programming is better, customer service is better, they have exclusive rights to the Sunday Ticket, they have NFL Network which a lot of cable companies still don't have... DirecTV is a no-brainer if you ask me. |

I'm in Richmond as well and have Comcast Digital. I'm hoping that prior to the NFL season getting here they offer the NFL Network in HD.
