Chariots of Fire was a popular movie in the early 80s. It garnered tons of critical praise. I remember my parents dragging me to see it when I was a little kid, and thinking, "this is the most boring movie ever made!" I watched it again not too long ago, and I realized what a great film it was. It's one of those sports movies that transcends sports and speaks on a higher level about the human condition. If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend it-- but only if your attention span exceeds that of a five-year-old!
