OK, that makes sense. It just seems like the coaches have enough evaluating to do without throwing a 4th quarterback in the mix.

Just out of curiosity, has any practice squad quarterback ever had any type of notable success? I know Jake Delhomme was a former NFL Europe QB, that's all I can think of.
