Katharine is a pop music cookie cutter girl. She's pretty, great voice, sings ballads. But there's nothing original, no unique style, etc. The only way you can be successful when you're cut from the cookie cutter mold is to become something more impressive. Kelly Clarkson was cookie cutter, but she found a rock edge and now she's got her own style. Boom, success.

Carrie Underwood is having success because she's pop-country, not quite cookie cutter pop. Katharine will need to develop a style or something, or she's going to be here today and gone tomorrow.

Daughtry's going to be successful no matter what because he already has a great style. He'll catch on with a rock band.

I'll say this though, Katharine is hot.

Oh, I don't disagree at all. I'm just saying Katharine will catch on with more people. I'm not a huge fan of "Top 40" music, but that's the kind of stuff she'll sing. Elliot shouldn't win, not only because my ass is prettier than him, but because he doesn't sing the type of music people listen to. Well, not the type of music anyone below 65 listens to.

That's some serious hatting. I think he has every right to win. He may not be the best looking dude (I don't any of the guys that were left were anyhow) but the guy can sing. Besides, this is a singing competition not a modeling competition.

I'm just not a big fan of the vebrato (sp?). I prefer voices that just hold the solid note without that flickering. Just a personal preference.

HAHA! I know, I reserve a special batch of Haterade just for him. I don't deny he can sing at all, but no one will buy his "Singers and Standards" album he will undoubtedly put out.
