My intent was to point out the fact that Thomas, although deserving, was not a first ballot selection is all. Nothing more, Nothing less, I see no reason for you get so defensive about that.

But to make you feel better I will simply say that "there was only one first ballot HOF selectee this year".

He knows that Acheman never deserved the HOF ballot, much less entrance when compared to the greatest QBs. Acheman's stats only impressed the Len Fatsquierlis and P. Queens of the world, just like Stallworth & Swann combined do not compare to Art Monk. But they are in!

Ask him: Who knocked Acheman clean out of his career?

Ask him: How did those two cowgirls / Redskins games go last year?

Ask him about last year's cowgirl playoff run!

I tried to make a sincere, repespectable post/observation about the subject of this thread (which was about Thurman Thomas) and you guys try so hard to read into it that you will twist anyway you can so it at least appears that I am trying to be offensive and flame your board.

You guys should relax man, I have been a member of this board for several months now and enjoy visiting here and reading the discussions.

You can take a rivalry so far. I have always tried to be respectful of your board, all I ask in return is that you at least give my posts the benefit of the doubt and at least take them at face value and not read anything into what I say.

So, to again state that which I tried in my original post is that Thurman Thomas was a first ballot candidate this year, did not make it. He will and it is just a matter of time. He just did not make it his first time eligible.
