Trotter always had the talent and drive, but bad circumstances always kept him just GOOD and not GREAT. injury and revolving def. coordinators would do that to anyone. can't believe we didnt try harder to renogotiate or something. this is about as bad an outcome as there could've been. back to the Eagles? i don't get it. Armstead and Trotter were serious, consistent warriors for us and we dumped them pretty unceremoniously. experienced, high character guys, that no one could blame our defensive woes on. did everyone expect 3 LaVar Arringtons?

If Trotter is so good. How come it took so long for a team to sign him? I don't think he sucks, but I would rather have Barrow. He has experience, and he's a team leader......that's one thing Trotter isn't.
