college was an evolution for me. freshman year, it was Natty Light. Sophomore year, Beast Ice turned into Hard Cider. Junior year, 6 packs of imports on Thursdays turned into 30s of Miller Lite or Bud Light on Friday and Saturday. Senior year, whatever premium beer that was on sale at the local beer store (Cheers! was the store, Bass, Sam Adams, Heineken, etc were the beers) that week was what we drank. when Yuengling started distribution outside PA, we drank that until Salisbury had no more to sell.

And now, i'll go to the bar, pick a draft and be content.

I forgot about Import Thursdays! That's where I finally started to get an appreciation for darker/heavier tasting beers.

I remember when I used to think of Bud Light as "good beer," such innocent times.
