Well, lite beer still has alcohol as opposed to decaf which eliminates the caffeine.

In my older age I try to watch my carbs more, so that's why I lean towards the lite beers. Except when I'm drinking Guinness, but that's more carb and calorie friendly that alot of beers anyway.
