Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
Hey Guys,
I spoke with Tony today and we are going to do a little training camp preview Q/A thing within the next 10 days or so. Please post any questions you have regarding the upcoming training camp and 2006 season for Tony here... Thank you!

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
How much of an adjustment period can we expect regarding the offense?
Will Saunders make wholesale changes, or will the changes be minimal to make for a smooth transition? Also, will Saunders play things close to the vest during the preseason as we've seen Gibbs do in the past? |

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
How is Rocky doing since surgery?
Which players had the best offseason- both in shape wise or were active in team operations during that period? Is this the most athletic Redskins team ever assembled? All the questions I want to know are behind close doors.

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
how long does it usually take an offense to adjust to a new co ordinator? and the co oordinator to the personnel?

Tony, now that TC, PS, and the Regular Season are practically on top of us, what kind of record will the B&G put together this year against: 1. The NFC East? 2. All other Scheduled Opponents? And just as everyone else here in TheWarpath.net seems convinced, are you convinced that this team is for real, and will indeed make the POs? Thank you for your comments in advance!

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
Robert Johnson saw limited time last year all of one play I believe. He's a pretty big guy at 6-6 , 278. Does it look like he's going to see some more time on the field this season ?

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
Tony, with week one approaching so fast, how do you think we match up against the Vikings? A lot of guys around this fourm think its a foregone conclusion that we begin 1-0. Do you see any reasonable way that we get beat? Basically, can a team get caught in a trap game in the season's first game?

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
Tony,
I know Saunders will run a lot of different looks and formations, but what will the BASE set for the Redskins be when the offense first takes the field? Will it be a 3WR set with Portis alone in the backfield or 2WR set with Cooley on the line and Sellers and Portis in the backfield? |

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
Greetings Tony, and thanx! Considering the offseason moves and especially the addition of Al Saunders, do you believe our 2006 offense will be:
A) inadequate (still lacking or to young in the system)? B) adequate (able to put up enough points to let the D carry it)? C) effective (generally puts the team in a position to win)? D) dominate (beats the Goffin' shit outta' all comers)? Please elaborate if possible. many thanx!!!

Re: Training Camp Preview Questions for Tony McGee
do you know anything about spencer havner? he was a projected 3rd-4th round draft pick at LB, but went undrafted and signed as a redskin (as one of the top 5 rated undrafted guys). I was wondering if you had seen him in actual games or had hear anything about him (if he's any good, if there's a reason (red flag) why he fell so far, etc).
Thanks |
