Sorry if I jinx him...but he won't do it.
This is going to continue to be a record that looks attainable but will end up standing for a long time. 33 is very impressive though. Remember, Joe DiMaggio broke a hitting streak record of 52 games that had been held since 1887!!!! It's just not easy to do.
