I know since it's NFL time, the women's league takes a back seat, but the DC Divas won the Championship Game (equivalent of the Superbowl) against OK City Lightning on Saturday Aug 5th 28-7. Check out the DC Divas at D.C. Divas - Pro-Women's Football in Washington, DC. Has anyone from the boards ever seen the Divas play?

I saw the Diva play the Sports Junkies (4 guys from PG county that went from a local access cable sports talk show to morning drive on FM 106.7) in a charity game about a year or so ago. The Junkies put together a team of their buddies and associated friends, practiced for a month and completely destroyed the Divas. The game was not close and the junkies themselves actually played the skill positions like QB, WR, RB.
