Cooley is a Beast!
http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=2324
It says Chris Cooley had "registered 65 knockdown blocks, including eight that resulted in touchdowns." I never knew that he was such a monstrous blocker. I bet that he'll do his fair share to help the running game along. Plus, he has consistently won the Golden Helmet Award, which is given to the team's hardest hitter. He was even a defensive end coming into college. Who knows, maybe they might even consider giving him a look a defensive end (playing both ways) if the position looks too desperate. Well, anyway I just wanted to demonstrate what people feel like when they run into Chris Cooley |

Well it looks like the he is going to be a heck of a blocker. It doesnt look like he would want the ball much. With KWII I could see him crying about not getting enough passes his way.

I think he's a sleeper pick. He might be a huge addition for us. Let's hope he can be as good as he was in college.

Yeah, he's got great hands also. He really sounds like a JG kind of player.

I really like this pick, I think he will be a big time player for us, he's taylored made for Gibb's offense.

I remember mel kiper really having high praise for Cooley saying he could be a steal in the middle rounds. Hope he's right.

Gibbs knows TE's, I'd be really surprised if Cooley doesn't end up a solid pro.

well he did put up the numbers in college, better numbers then KWII. Of course the level of competition isnt even comparable. Hes got great coaches to start his NFL career.
As a side not, hes ranked as a 60 in 2K5. I really hope they give him the benefit of the doubt and rank him higher in madden, because I really want to start this guy and get him ranked up in the 90's. But if they make him to bad it will be hard to overcome some of the low stats.

I think he'll be in mid to high 70's in madden. I'm curious to see where they rank ST. |

He will probably be mid 60's in madden. There aren't many high rated rookies from the third round

yea theres no way that hes high 70's, probably no way hes mid 70s either. Taylor could be high 70's technically, although im sure they will give him low 80's. Third round pick arent ranked that high in madden.if hes high 60's thatll be pretty good.

Cooley should be about a 65 in Madden, Taylor 80-85 range initially.
