Tom Jackson hates the Redskins

Just saw TJ on ESPN and he said his biggest pre-season disappointment was the Redskins offense and that Brunell played poorly, threw off his back foot and that it looked like the exact same offense as last year and that Snyder's investments have not paid off. Damn, talk about making a ridiculous snap judgement after ONE game! Redskins starters weren't even in the game for an entire quarter. Also, he didn't mention how our defense totally killed the Cincy offense with essentially vanilla blitz packages. He is a douchebag.

So after one week of the preseason he should say no team was a disappointment and it was just preseason? People want to hear speculation, if this was something he said about Dallas we'd be gloating. Lets stop with the double standard. We played poorly, thus people will say we played poorly. Yes, it is preseason, but it still happened and we're being judged against other teams in preseason.

Exactly! What was he supposed to dodge the question? You wanna know who disappointed in week 1? It was the Skins. The first team offense looked bad. Brunell looked bad. Does that mean that this team will be bad in the regular season? No. But I was disappointed in the way they played. That doesn't mean they're not a playoff contender, but they better start playing better than that offensively or they will be a disappointment this season.

I certainly think they will get better. But so far, the O looked bad. They asked about preseason disappointments. The Redskins are right up there after one game. Pretty much everyone has only played one game and that means that he had to a make a snap judgement about someone, just so happens it was the Skins. Fairplay considering how poorly the O played.

However, I do agree, the D was absolutely disgusting.

That's exactly what he should've said....for any team. You can't make a proper judgement on a team in preseason...it's irresponsible.

Exactly skinsguy, this is preseason and nobody except the coaches & players knows exactly what is trying to be tested and analyzed in each preseason game. Also who knows how much of the offense is be showcased. Gibbs is well known to show almost nothing offensively in preseason so to say the offense is a disappointment is a stretch.
