Re: Madden 2007 Reviews

every year ea puts out the same crap with maybe 1 new feature and charges out the ass for it. i said it before that the only way ea would have gotten my money was to put CP on the cover. and still then i was not sure if i would buy it again

Question for anyone who has already bought the game: Is it worth the price?

and another question if you answered yes: did you buy last years?

I was a diehard madden fan. i bought every game ea ever put out until this year. 2 months after playing it you all will realize that its the same damn game as last year. ea has lost my buisness until they do a complete remake of the game, not just tweaking it here or there. I am not going to spend 50 bucks on one or two new moves or tackles. i can pull out madden 03 and its practically the same game as 07.

I bought the 360 and PS2 version, and I too was up until 5am playing, I spent more time on the PS2 version, but I really like the new feel of the 360 version, I'm more happy than last year, but barley, I played a game online last night with a homeboy and I was the Skins of course and he was Dal ASS, and I was winning 14-13 and had to friendly quit (new born) woke up.....I will play the PS2 more head to head, but the 360 I will dab into the Franchise or Superstar Mode...... I say by one version, whatever system you got.......and pratice on your game......enjoy it for what it is....a game

no. it's never been worth the price, i don't think many would argue that. this is true now more than ever in an era where we can update games online through systems like Marketplace. EA should charge $20 for the annual roster updates and the sparse 'new features'.

unfortunately, we buy it every year for our love of the NFL, not EA's love for game innovation. that's why they spent more money on getting the license than trying to compete and develop worthy new facets of game every year.

yes, you can believe it's frustrating. more so when you realize many of the 'new' features were out years ago on previous NFL games (precision passing, the 'highlight stick', etc etc).

I HATE EA.

but I LOVE THE REDSKINS.

sadly, EA knows this about everybody.
