Mark me down as not worried.
I was burned back in Spurrier's first season. I bought into the preseason hype hook, line, and sinker. After that I promised myself I would never buy into any preseason hype, no matter how good or bad it is. Gibbs' resume includes plenty of preseason disasters followed by plenty of winning seasons, some of those that included Super Bowls. I don't call it blind faith, I call it trusting a man who's been there, done that, and trusting that history does indeed repeat itself. |
