when he was signed the general thought (from what i gathered) was "hey look, an expensive matt bowen".

GW wanted him cause in run support he won't let alstott or LT toss him aside for the game winning play. in pass coverage he's looked pretty bad though. we'll see how he does in a real scheme that tries to hide his shortcomings soon enough.
