Bigger disappointment?

The defense was the bigger disappointment. I expected the defense to be solid and I think we in D.C. have been a little spoiled by our D. They played okay, not spectacular, just okay. They were pretty good against the run (allowing C.T. to average less than 3 ypc), but they allowed far too many big plays on 3rd down or made dumb penalties. That said, they allowed about 300 yards and 19 points ... above average, but not Redskins D.

I didn't expect much out of the offense and I didn't see much out of them either. They moved the ball quite well, that is until they got into the red zone 4 times and went 1(TD)-3(FG). They've got far too much talent to score just 16 points at home, on Monday night, against the Vikings defense.

Overall, the offense played a worse game, but I expected the defense to be good and the offense to be just average. So, I'm more disappointed in the defense.
