opinions of the MNF crew?

Why does there have to be this much hullabaloo over the TV crew? For some reason the broadcast execs seem to think that there has to be raw, biting commentary -- as if the game itself isn't enough for entertainment.

To the studio bigwigs, I say, get over yourselves. Just get somebody who can coherently call the game. Don't kill yourselves trying to be edgy, or make the commentating crew bigger than the game itself.
