We should have gone after Ryan Longwell in the offseason when we had the chance. He's appreciably better than Hall. But trying to replace him now would be pointless. We'd end up with an equally substandard kicker, if not worse.

Hence our dilema. Hall isn't all that good, but who's out there right now that's any better. Unless he totally tanks and stinks it up over the next couple of games, now isn't the time to experimenting with a new kicker.
