Defense

Well it doesn't look good for our D this weekend the pass defense is going to kill us. We will not be able to blitz hardly at all because if we doing it will be even worse. i thought i never say this but i dont see us winning this game and as i predict the loser of this game will not make the playoffs out of our division.

Re: Defense

0-2 isn't a good spot to be in, but it's not the end of the world. That's only one loss in the division. Not time to give up, not even close.

Didn't we learn anything after starting 5-6 last year??

I suppose it would be safe to forget about home-field advantage right?

Re: Defense

keep the faith bro. i happen to disagree in regards to our pass D and blitz. as has been pointed out already, the love boats o-line is one of the best if not the best in the league. we are not facing that challenge this sunday. we will get alot more out of our d-line, which will help our pass-d. dont sweat it to much. i think we all will wake up mon a.m. singing Hail to the Redskins!

Re: Defense

That's what this game comes down to. Dallas is going to stay 3+ WRs on the field. We dont have the people to cover that many. They have burners in Glenn and Crayton, and an all around very good player in TO (say what you will about his personallity, but on the field it's hard to say he's not amazing). Their running game is meh, and O line is meh. If given the choice I still think I'd go Bledsoe over Brunell. I think Jason Witten could really tear us up. We have to create pressure from somewhere. Maybe Daniels and Carter won't disappear this week.

As far as offense, they have a very fast defense which isn't what we want to see, but I think we can move the ball against them. If we can actually score some TDs we'll be okay.

Re: Defense

Week 2 doesn't say a thing. Remember when we were down 13-0, and they were giving us the closing credits. Then the Redksins slap in the face? I think our defense just wasn't aggressive enough, maybe we showed our blitz to early, and Johnson read all of them. Remeber the dude is like 99 years old. We need more plays from the d line

Agreed. Dallass has their own issues to worry about, and this game is completely up in the air. Of course, even if either team was Super Bowl calibre, the game would still be up in the air.

I tell you what do me and all other loyal redskin fans a favor and dont watch the game. That kind of negativity sucks. How can you say you dont see us winning? You must have fallen and bumped your head. To say you dont see us beating our arch rival cowboys is like a slap in the face to me. How dare you call yourself a redskin fan. You were probably the guy who turned off the tv the monday night game last year against the cowboys when we were down 13-0. When we win Sunday night dont jump back on the skins.

Re: Defense

The skins always have a chance to beat Dallas. Division rivals usually play close games and many times it comes down to something like special teams. Looks like Vanderjagt will play. Whos to say he makes all of his kicks? I mean that guy has some serious issues. When he was on the Colts didn't he call out Peyton? Anyway on the kicking situation for both teams Id rather have John Hall than Vanderjagt. At least Hall played last week and made some kicks. Vanderjagt hasn't played in a game since missing those 2 close OT kicks in the preseason.

BUT they also have Bledsoe - who is going to throw ATLEAST three interception. We'll win, becuase our D will help us win.

Re: Defense

When was the last time a Greg Williams defense got 3 turnovers? He puts his corners on islands which means INTs don't really come too much. Also, if given the choice between Bledsoe and Brunell on my team, I wouldn't take Brunell..

Re: Defense

Then again your talent evaluation on QB's is suspect. You said Patrick Ramsey is a great player, yet he couldn't beat out a lame armed QB and a rookie.

Re: Defense

The Redskins haven't had 3 interceptions in a game since...the last time they played Drew Bledsoe and the Dallas Cowboys
