I have a feeling that they are grooming it for when DirecTV loses the rights to NFL exclusivity. The NFL Network will become the only source for Pro Football and it's already on cable as well as SAT.

I'm guessing at $10 per game by that time on a PPV basis or a better deal for the full season.
