2 questions:
1) Will our WR/RB-screens help to combat the speed of their DEs or is good blocking really the only way to handle it?
2) Have you heard anything about Shockey's health? I feel like he's been noticably limping everytime I see him but I haven't heard anything about why.
That first question is a really good one. Saunders used the quick dump offs in the Houston game because I think in the Cowboy game right before it he saw how bad the line got owned by Dallas. So the remedy was to get the ball out of Brunell's hands sooner. Certainly any screens and quick slants are a great way to take Strahan and Osi out of the equation. Of course you'd like to be able to threaten the deep part of the field at times too, just to keep the safeties from creeping up. Saunders will probably try a mix, and like TAFKAS said, since the Skins coaching staff is so superior, he'll probably adjust as the game goes along based on how the tackles are holding up against the pass rush. If the pass rush is killing Brunell he can run RB and WR screens, draws, keep Cooley in, and quick slants. If the pass rush isn't getting to Brunell, he can run just about anything.

I have Shockey on one of my fantasy teams, and Yahoo's little yellow note next to his name said that he practiced pretty well yesterday and is looking pretty healed. He had a sore ankle, but seems closer to 100% now. We've given up a lot of plays to TEs and RBs in the passing game so far, he'll be a headache for us. We'll need to commit LBs to covering him, so the front four is going to have to get the pressure.
