i don't buy do as i say not as i do, that's all. and you couldn't take any possibly negative comment (even those not directed at you) by anyone without getting extremely defensive, but apparently it's fine by you to have it both ways.

i don't see how saying i'd like to read about football in football threads at a football forum is "jumping all over your back" but whatever. and then having to re-clarify it whatever x number of times since that apparently didn't get across as intended the first time.
