Who gives a shit about Alex Smith. He is on the second or third worst team in football.

Why is this thread still going on? Lloyd is improving every week and continue to get better.

The Niners were shitty in '04, they were shitty in '05, they are shitty in '06 and they will be shitty in '07.

Analyze that.

The Niners were shitty in '04, they were shitty in '05, and the defense is shitty in '06. Next season they will not be shitty at all.

Analyze that.

how about a prediction on the number of wins next season. your schedule will be on the softer side, so at least 8 wins?

Yes that is about right. Give or take a game.

hmm...

92 yards passing w/ 2 ints and nearly a 50% completion rating
93 yards rushing, 3 fumble (2 lost), and 5 sacks for -20 yards

oh yeah, 41-0 against.

you're offense is REALLY amazing. JUST as amazing as your defense which gave up 41 points. try again.

Oh yeah one game. The Chiefs D is the best we faced so far coming off of a bye in the one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL. The Oline played like crap, they gave Alex no time and that was the result. The Seahawks didn't have a great game offensively either, but does two FG's really reflect how good they are? Try again.

Now our defense flat out sucks. No way around that.

You can't honestly try to compare the chiefs defense with the bears.

No the Chiefs defense isn't as good as the Bears but our offense isn't as good as the Seahawks either. It's all relative.

I agree that your offense isn't as good as the seahawks, but they had also just lost the reigning NFL MVP. That's going to affect your entire team quite a bit.

The seahawks are greatly overrated, much like the entire dynasty of the niners, try that.

the seahawks have had two 6 point games. hutch is gone and SA is MIA. I think that is pretty representative of a team that can't run to save themselves. I think you're showing is much more representative of the 49ers than the hawks 6 point outing was of their offense though.

Actually they have had one. 9 points versus Detroit. Hutch is gone but they have Womack and Spencer to replace him, their line is one of the deepest in the league. The Seahawks offense is one of the most potent in the NFL.

Minus the Chiefs game the 49ers have had three good offensive showings, they have just had bonehead penalties and fumbles that have negated some of the success they have had. One performance isn't representative of this offense's capability, even without Larry Allen.
