That was probably one of the greatest days in my life. The image of a prone Danny White also sticks in my mind. I am so ready for Gibbs to bring us som victorys over the Cowboys. The days of their dominance of the Redskins are over!

My dad was a big Skins fan, so I was. But during the mid-70's when I was like 5-6 years old, we were living in Germany, and for a short time I decided I liked the, eh-ehm, Cowboys because of the stupid star on the helmet, and they were always doing well (Hey, I was just a kid!). But it didn't take long for him to convince me that they were the enemy though!
After that, I always liked the Skins and considered them "my team", but wasn't big into them (or the NFL for that matter) until the first superbowl year. Then I was a true Redskins fan, and have been ever since. Actually over the past few years (since the late 90's), I've become more and more die-hard than ever....

That's ok, as a kid I was the same way for a brief, fleeting moment. Just because I wanted to be the opposite of my older brother, a diehard Redskins fan. Once I saw how much fun he and his friends had as Redskins fans I decided I wanted to be just like them and watched the NFC Championship game as a Redsins fan for the first time and not a Cowboys fan. Smart game for me to switch my allegiances

Actually, I know a couple Cowboys fans that did that and for some reason it stuck. Their entire families are Redskins fans, and they just wanted to be different...or to cause trouble (which makes sense for a Cowgirl fan)....troublemakers, just like their team!
