I'd still take Madden & Michaels over the Moose & Goose team that we got today. I literally groaned when I saw they were covering the game. Stockton's hair looks scary in HD too.

No doubt. Only Aikman and Buck are better than Madden Michaels.

What about the MNF crew. As much as I love JT as a Skin, and TK from PTI, I get quite annoyed with them too. They have gotten much better though. Sometimes it just seems like three is a crowd.

I got pissed when I saw them too, but I honestly don't think they were that bad yesterday. Moose is one of the few commentators who seems to understand how important Portis actually is to the Skins. It seems like most of these guys think that Portis is only good for a goofy outfit and a sound bite. Plus, his messed up pinky gives me something to gawk at when he talks.

I only noticed Stockton call someone by the wrong name once. I think he called someone Scott and for a second i thought he was talking directly to me because I was still drunk from the night before. So that was fun.

It also seems like Fox bascially told Goose to shut the F up, which he did for the most part. That bit with Shockey was pretty funny. I would be happy if they fired Goose, but as long as he isn't talking too much I guess it's okay.

More on topic; I think I have to agree with MJG on this one. If it weren't for Madden's video game he wouldn't be as loved as he is. He's become a transcendant figure in the NFL and so he gets a free pass to be the way he is. Granted, he is a legend, but even legends get old and need to ride off into the sunset before they just become caricatures of themselves.
