I'm laying some serious blame on Gibbs, Williams, and the scouting department for not nabbing a corner with our 2nd round pick. Rocky McIntosh, while he may be a good player one of these days, was not even close to what we needed.
We need CORNERS to be able to do what we do on defense. Carlos Rogers has talent, but he's still too green to be expected to be a #1. Without Shawn Springs, we can't cover well enough to let Williams blitz. We have to use Archuleta in coverage where he's basically worthless. Horrible decision not to solidify the CB spot with better talent in the offseason. That's the single biggest thing that's killing us on defense.
