But I was thinking, their kicker seems pretty bad. Maybe they kept this RB in to give their kicker practice. (10 TDs, 64 points.)

Some interesting tidbits:
1) This running back's coach is a teacher at the losing school. (See The games coaches play)

So I can understand the "scr*w the league" mentality. Besides, who remembers if the guy who holds the national record did so in a blow-out?

Yep, the kicker stank, they should've just gone for 2 every time, unless this was a way to get more practice in for him since he obviously needs it.

1) I wonder what was said to him on Monday back at the teachers' lounge!

2) Records are records no matter who the opponent is. We heard the crap arguments about Brunell's record against the Texans. Hey, it's still a record.

I have no problem with them going for the record once it looked like he was on pace for it. He should keep trying since he got so close.
