Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Duckett was inactive for the game. That's why you can't bring in Duckett. I simply think that it would have been a very tough yard...as opposed to one stinking one. In the meadowlands, we weren't getting anything done, so it wouldn't suprise me if we couldn't muster the strength to get that one extra yard. I'll climb within 2 scores before i'll risk going for it on 4th and 1 in NY every time, especially given the context of this particular game.

Duckett was active. Even so, they gave the ball to Portis on the goal line last week against Jacksonville. I'm not as convinced as everyone else seems to be that Portis is useless in short yardage.
