Redskins sign Novak

Given Hall's injury we had no choice, so under the circumstances I don't hate the move.

But I am concerned about a couple of things.

#1 Novak's penchant for having kicks blocked. He was 8 for 10 last year with the Cards, his two misses were blocked.

#2, his short kickoffs. Maybe we'll keep using Frost, but even he hasn't been that great. Say what you will about Hall, but he was consistently getting the kickoffs to the 5 which isn't too shabby.
