Redskins Sign Vincent (MERGED)

For those complaining that this seems desperate...YO, WAKE UP!! THIS TEAM IS DESPERATE!!!

This is a totally legit signing in my opinion. I am very critical of this team and its management right now, but I have no problems with this signing, it makes complete sense. We have major issues in our secondary right now and Vincent is coming off a minor injury where the Bills management screwed up and put him on Major IR, vs. minor IR. He on the down side of a great career, true, but based on his numbers last year, is still capable of making a significant contribution. I ask you why we WOULDN'T make this move? It makes too much sense any way you look at it.

Don't expect miracles, but TV is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade to our existing secondary. I would expect to see him in at nickel DB and/or FS in place of AA on passing downs. It's wishful thinking, but I would LOVE to see Arch moved up to WLB/OLB, the guy can't cover anything more than a Tight end at best.
