Coudn't hurt to bring him in -- there's no place for this secondary to go but up.
Also, notice how the cries for Ade Jimoh seem to have died down after getting beaten for the first TD on Sunday? Funny how that works. |

We are in hell back there in the secondary, and if Clements is available and all it would take is a number one draft choice, I think that it is worth it.
If we can get stabilized back there, it will change the character of the team I think. We can go back to being aggressive on defense. If he had been on the team at the beginning of the year, we would have perhaps been able to win two of the games we have lost. Sign him now for a number one and get him under a long term contract. |
