Maybe????? What possible reason could you have for saying that Brunell shouldn't be benched when we are mathematically eliminated? He's 36 and certainly isn't part of our future.

Sheriff, you are arguing with the wrong person chief. If I was running the team, I would have ditched Brunell after year one.

I am saying that Gibbs may replace Brunell once they are mathematically eliminated. No sooner and he may even let the bible thumper finish the season.

I know this much. Jesus Christ can throw a 25 yard post....

You are right about they are not playing well, but thats hind site. His time will come, unless we have a miracle.

The saddest thing is that this is a Joe Gibbs-coached team that could only play half a game when the season was on the line. Add in all those personal fouls and unnecssary roughness calls, and there is no difference between the Steve Spurrier days and today.

Saddly your right, during Joe's firsrt go around, I remember how renowned he was for the second half adjustments he would make. Anytime they would be losing, the announcers would comment on how good he was at half-time adjustments and more often-than-not the skins would play more inspired. What happened to that?

completely. i remember thinking anything was possible after halftime back then, when Gibbs had time to think about things and make everything better. that feelings is opposite now, mostly because it's not that we're failing at the adjustments, but that they're aren't any adjustments at all. just more of the 3-out same.

i think the shorter halftimes has alot to do with it, but i also think Joe Gibbs may have been TOO humble in getting Al Saunders and not trusting his offense from last season. the one that got us in the playoffs.

I don't know, Steve Spurrier had better records up until that last 5-11 season. Today's Redskins will be lucky if they win 4.

Good point, sad but true. The Redskins easily are the biggest disappointment of the NFL season to date.

I believe the question was when WILL JC be benched, not when SHOULD he be benched.
