Re: Just to set the record straight (Denver Draft Pick in 07')
I like the idea of trading our 1st rounder to move down in the 1st and get another pick later in the draft. Then, use our 1st to get a good DB ... anyone know who will be available?

a top 10 pick wasn't good enough, so the chances of a lower 1st being good much better immediately? a top 5 pick is generally a game breaker, so you've got to think carefully about trading out of it. |

Re: Just to set the record straight (Denver Draft Pick in 07')
One player I hope we get as a free agent is Nate Clements, star cornerback with Buffalo. He knows GW and the defense and he is young. We could really use his help. Carlos Rogers might have to go to a nickel role, but he would be on the field a lot and would still be getting experience. Eventually he could become a Pro Bowl player with the talent he has. But our defense requires top flight cornerback play, and we have have those positions very solid.
