I want to keep the same schemes, keep the same coaches, keep the same offensive line, keep Portis, Moss, Cooley, Lloyd, ARE, Sellers. But the biggest change I want to see is a complete shift in philosophy, getting away from acquiring players through free agency and start acquiring them through the draft. I want to see us acquiring picks, not trading them away. That would be a pretty big shift in the way the team is managed.

I'd agree with this. I think the Campbell era will start in training camp last year. (Not that he won't play this year, but this isn't his team) The fact that they keep trading picks away compromises the future, and you'd be a fool to think there isn't some extra pressure on the team to win now that indirectly affects the game.

It's not like they haven't done a good job drafting both early and late. Dockery, Sean Taylor, Montgomery, Golston, Betts, Marshall and Pierce as UDFAs all came from the draft. It's not like there is even a problem with trading picks for role players. It's that every time we make a deal, we get far sub par league average value for our pick.
