What Dockery cannot do is run forward very fast to lead a running play anywhere beyond the right guard. That is what I mean by "slow". He is quck enough in that he gets off the ball and into a blocking position quickly, but he cannot run straight ahead very fast. I think he might be able to outrun a snowman, but I'm not sure I'd wager on that...

Tackles are not asked to run fast on many plays but they do need to be big and strong and have the quick feet to get into a blocking position. Doclery is big; I presume that he is strong or he would have been dropped off the starting OL because Bugel seems not to like folks who do not get with the weight lifting program; he has quick feet.

I'd move him to tackle if it were my choice until he showed me in the later pre-season games that he just can't do that. After all, Jones has already plaayed RT in the NFL - albeit not spectacularly - so waiting to put him there is not a huge penalty while you see if Dockery can actually make the switch.
