He does say around this part that he thinks Al can "help" the team, but it sure seems vague and not like a vote of confidence to me.

Doesn't it mean something very significant that he didn't say it was the right decision to have Saunders make the play calls... only that the decision was made the right WAY, and for the right REASONS; but he didn't say it was RIGHT. Big difference!!

Deciphering his quotes are like reading tea leaves. I don't know how they can blame Al when they gave him a QB who can't throw the ball. Give him Trent Green, then decide if it is his fault.

Green and Brunell are the same damn player. One just has a concussion. And the other throws with his left hand. But not in a Jake Plummer sort of way.
