Brady Quinn ... Questions I would ask to make that decision under the current Redskins Front Office and coaching staff -

1. Can he hold a clipboard well?
2. Does he look good sitting on the bench for several years?
3. How much would these special talents cost the Redsskins?

I guess my Dumb & Dumber reference was too subtle...what about this one:

"...Uh, what's the Soup de Jour?"
"It's the soup of the day."
"Mmmm. That sounds good. I'll have that."

HAHAHA. My bro and I are always pulling that one out. We also do the quotes from the Predator. He'll like whisper, "Over here..." and I'll say, "Anytime..." like when the Predator is seeing in his infrared vision and he hears that stuff.

Re: Should the Redskins make a run at Brady Quinn?

we need to see campbell play this year. i was hoping gibbs would make the move to him this week. gibbs needs to see the light and realize that we are 2-5 and are in the nfc east we are not going 9-0 or 8-1 the rest of the way. we need him to start asap so we know what we have in him and to get jump on next year so we dont have to struggle out of the gate next year. come on joe quit be so loyal to a bum QB this year if i remeber right ramsey was the starter last year and lost it when he went for series in the opener last year and never got his job back.

But seriously, everyone is blowing loads over Brady Quinn this year. Why is he the BEST QB the draft has seen in years all of a sudden?

he has been effectively running Charlie(sp) Weiss' Offensive system and I think if you can do that effectively, like he has been, it could be worth possibly "blowing a load" over. lol.....and im a big ND fan so, that doesnt help my postion on Quinn....we wont get him but, as long as he doesnt end up in our Div. its all good....

The UCLA game. He got his ass kicked all day, pretty much every play, and faced with insurmountable pressure and odds witha minute to go, drove his offense 80 yards in 3 plays and only 35 seconds.

Quinn is a 4 year starter at a top program who plays a difficult schedule every season and he has the college production to make stats people drool and makes the scouts oggle over his sexy footwork and outstanding pocket presence and intangibles. Not to mention he would be a good fit in any NFL offense.

I don't think he should get the Heisman because Troy Smith is having a better year, but it wouldn't be farfetched to say that Brady Quinn is the best player in college football.

He's not going to be the greatest NFL QB ever, but he will be a franchise QB for someone.
